Dr. Qingyun Xu is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist with the Texas Medical Board. She earned her Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Texas Health and Science University in 2019 and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Before moving to the United States, Qingyun graduated from China Medical University and practiced clinical medicine as a gastroenterologist for more than ten years. Her extensive background in Western medicine laid a strong foundation for her integrative approach to patient care. Over time, she developed a deep passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic healing, believing that the root of human health lies in maintaining Yin–Yang balance and harmony between the human body and nature.

For the past six years, Qingyun has provided acupuncture and herbal therapy to patients with a wide range of conditions, including neck and back pain, joint pain related to arthritis, weight management, gynecological concerns, digestive disorders, and management of diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions.

By joining Innovative Spine & Orthopedic Clinic, Qingyun brings a highly complementary skill set—blending both Western and Eastern medical expertise—to support a more holistic treatment approach for our patients suffering from spinal disorders and related health conditions.

In her spare time, Qingyun enjoys practicing Qigong, Yoga, and Taichi, which reflect her lifelong commitment to balance, mindfulness, and healthy living.
